Nordic Energy Services Partners with the Chicago Bears
WILLOWBROOK, IL., Aug. 26 – Nordic Energy Services, LLC,
is an independently owned, Chicago-based, Alternative Retail Electric Supplier (ARES) and Alternative
Gas Supplier (AGS), has reached an agreement with the Chicago Bears to provide natural
gas and electric power to the historic NFL franchise at their team headquarters, Halas Hall.
Under the terms of the agreement Nordic Energy will manage supply contracts,
scheduling, usage data, research and forecasting to help the Bears oversee their energy needs.
Jim Deering, President of Nordic Energy said, "We actively pursued the
partnership with the Chicago Bears not only for our devotion to the team,
but for the name recognition. We believe the same, money-saving energy and
services we offer to the Chicago Bears will benefit many other businesses
throughout Illinois and Northwest Indiana. Our partnership is a good venue to build awareness."
The Chicago Bears open their regular season run Sunday, September 12
against the Detroit Lions. They wrap up their regular season home
schedule December 26 against the New York Jets.
Included in Nordic Energy Services package is logo placement on a new,
interactive Fan-O-Meter. The meter is displayed on all of Soldier
Field’s LED display boards during in-game activities.
